Get your $600 Social Rent Credit™

We offer some portion of the Social Rent Credit™ to every client that uses Social Earth Locating as their referral source. If you've chosen a property that wasn't on any of your Top Matches lists, we will send you $100-$300 about 60-90 days after you're moved into your new place. 

Ask your agent for more details on the Social Rent Credit™ amounts for properties outside of your Top Matches lists.

To receive the full $600 Social Rent Credit™, you must lease an apartment from your Top Matches list(s), and Social Earth Locating must be the listed referral source on your application and must be confirmed as the referral source by the property. 

In order for Social Earth to be your rightful referral source, it is important we make contact with the property on your behalf before you've reached out or stopped by. We do this by emailing the property your "guest card" information, which includes basic info like your name, how many bedrooms you need, when you're looking to move, your desired budget, etc.

This is a property-by-property situation. Please discuss with your Social Earth agent.

While most businesses pay other businesses marketing dollars to hopefully attract new customers and grow their business, we've decided to change things up and give the majority of our marketing dollars directly to you.

If your existing agent is doing a good job, providing rapid response times, and presenting you with relevant options; we recommend continuing to give them a chance by providing additional detailed communication with why the properties they've sent you so far are not ideal. Reiterate the key items you’re looking for in your next apartment. 

If you’re unhappy with your current locator at the other locating company, we are happy to assist you and will work hard until we find the right place. Please keep in mind in order for us to be your referral source, the property you choose will need to acknowledge us as so. 

If your previous agent already sent your “guest card” information to the property you end up leasing at, the property may not honor Social Earth as your referral source. In these cases, we have seen some clients email the property to clarify Social Earth as their referral source, and as long as you listed us on your application, this often resolves the issue. However, if a property does not confirm Social Earth Locating as your referral source, we are unfortunately not able to issue you a Social Rent Credit™.
